Vorbereitung

We had a great preparation weekend in Bonn which I really enjoyed and which helped me to feel ready for my year abroad! I even found friends who traveled with me to Vancouver in the beginning of the year!

Betreuung

iE was always there if I needed sth, day and night! I felt really safe talking to them about my problems or struggles and they always had sth to cheer me up!

Schule

My school was great, we even had Outdoor Education! Most of the teachers are really understanding when it is about language barriers, and the community really accepted us and tried to help us integrate!

Familie

We had some struggles in my family (e.g. one of my host sisters got kicked out in the middle of the year), but I am really happy with my family in general!
